2023/24 the average attendance has risen to a new record of 7160 spectators per game
and has also taken over the top position of all ice hockey leagues in Europe:
It is the highest main round spectator average of all European leagues.
The PENNY DEL has thus displaced the previous leader, the Swiss National League from first place
and is now only behind the National Hockey League (NHL) among ice hockey leagues worldwide.
